For the 30-year anniversary of an IT company, we supported a full-day corporate event with around 400 invited guests. The event combined an industry expo in the afternoon with talks and a formal evening program.
We were responsible for build, programming, and operation of the lighting system for speeches, show moments, dinner, and the following DJ party.
The event took place in the ballroom of a large conference hotel. A particular challenge was the venue’s low allowable ceiling load, requiring a targeted and efficient use of the available equipment.
The key challenge was creating smooth transitions between program segments to maintain a high-quality, coherent flow. Further goals included even front light for speaker situations, comfortable ambient light for dinner, and strong show lighting for the party.
